FC Ventspils was founded in 1997 with the merger of two former Ventspils clubs – FC Venta and FC Nafta, and started to play in the Latvian Virsliga. Lynx is mascot of the football club, so masters of Auguma Lelles paid a lot attention to details to make mascot costume looks bright and easy in use.
