RIX – Riga International Airport is the largest airport in the Baltic States. The airport is constantly growing and developing. At the end of 2016, a new North Terminal was opened at the airport. The Riga airport got new mascot Pilot as well, so “Auguma Lelles” company created mascot costume using illustrations provided by the customer.
The suit of this bright character consists of a large head, beige gloves, pilot’s uniform (jacket, shirt with a tie, trousers) and shoes that can be put over usual footwear. There is a blue cap with the RIX logo on the head of the mascot. A lot of attention was paid to the facial details of the character, whats why mascot costume looks very nice and cheerful. High-quality vivid synthetic materials were used in production of mascot costumes. In the mouth of the mask is an hole through which the actor can look and breathe, actor’s face is hidden with semitransparent mesh. Costume is designed for actor height 175-180cm.
